Here are some of the highlights of December 2019 and January 2020 at FBB.
We launched our Christmas Campaign in partnership with PayPal which saw England Lionesses Lucy Bronze, Georgia Stanway, and Nikita Parris engage in a piece in collaboration with FBB. The video got 24.5K views and 225K impressions, 1,332 total engagements on Twitter. It also recieved 2K impressions on Instagram and 1.1K views.
We held a workshop with Eniola Aluko centred around her recently released book ‘They Don’t Teach This’ involving participants from our Girls Programme. The Piece managed 77K impressions on Twitter alongside 9.5K media views and 671 media engagements. Eni Aluko also shared the video onto her channels. On Instagram, the video recorded 2K media views.
Our media audiences grew to 15.5K followers on Instagram and 22.7K followers on Twitter.
We launched our youth homelessness campaign with Wellness Kits project in collaboration with Michail Antonio. He came down to help pack the wellness packages for the homeless as well as engaging in a session with the youth. The video performed 77K media views on Twitter, with 1.4K total engagements.

FBB hosted an end of year Christmas party where Fulham FC footballer Cyrus Christie hosted our ‘At-Risk’ students at the FBB offices with food and gifts that we captured for socials.
FBB was named in The Big Issue’s Top 100 Changemakers of 2020 shortlist.
FBB launched their Football For All event campaign to get signups for the 500 capacity event which has sold out. The post managed 210K organic impressions with 991 media engagements. On Instagram the video recorded 3.3K impressions, with 202 profile visits.
We released our first two episodes of Coach Ciara, a piece we did on our colleague Ciara’s impact on the FBB programme and the wider community. The first episodegot an organic reach of 3.4K with 67 profile clicks on Instagram. The first episode got 33.4K impressions on Twitter with 7.8K media views and 704 total engagements. We then released Episode 2 of Coach Ciara, a piece that managed 116K impressions, 31K media views, and 1,224 total engagements with Lucy Bronze, Rachel Yankee, and Henry Winter retweeting.
We were nominated for the Spirit of Britain award by the British Muslim Awards.
One of our leading ex-participants Debra was given the opportunity to fly out to New York and Orgegon to meet the Vice President of Nike Global and feature in the Nike Global campaign for Black History Month. The Nike US team and representatives of Micheal Jordan’s Instagram page came down to the FBB offices to shoot a film with her around the campaign.
