MV Credit is proud to support small charity Dandelion Time as part of our partnership with Raise your Hands.

From their smallholding in Kent, Dandelion Time combine nature with family therapy to help traumatised children rebuild a central relationship in their lives.

The team there has told us that all of their cohort are experiencing poverty, in most cases extreme and worsening. At the start of every academic year, there are children in each classroom that don’t have the equipment they need to engage with learning. Getting hold of everything they need often means going without other essentials such as food, data or clothing.

That's why we are going to get backpacks, filled with school supplies, into the homes of families who are most desperately in need.

The goal is to provide 30 backpacks filled with the best quality school supplies for some of the children currently being supported by Dandelion Time. It costs around £50 to buy all the essential gear for a primary aged child (from calculators to water bottles and colouring pencils).

We are inviting MV Credit staff to make a contribution towards these costs. The company will top up the rest so together we'll give vulnerable children the best possible start to the new school year.
