Previous Charity Partners
There are many reasons why our charities have had to move on from Raise Your Hands.
Some have successfully scaled beyond the £2m income threshold we use to define “small”. Others have redirected their focus, taken their work in new directions, or found the right home in a larger partner organisation. Whichever path they’ve chosen, it’s been a priviliege to be part of their journey.

2022 – 2026
Jessie May
Children’s hospice at home
Jessie May provides at-home respite and palliative care for children with life-limiting and terminal conditions, supporting families through every stage of their journey.
With children’s hospice care under increasing pressure, Jessie May become a subsidiary of Children’s Hospice South West in 2026, protecting its vital at-home service.
We’re genuinely proud to have supported them through this transition and wish both organisations every success.

2016 – 2026
Kidscape
Help with bullying
For more than 40 years, Kidscape has delivered high-impact anti-bullying work, helping thousands of children and families across England and Wales challenge bullying and build healthy relationships.
As one of our original charities, it merged with Coram in 2026, where its programmes continue to grow.
We couldn’t be more proud of everything Kidscape has achieved, and we’re excited to see its reach extend further.

2016 – 2025
Create
Sparking creativity, igniting change
Create is a long-standing charity running arts programmes for people facing challenges in their lives.
We began supporting Create in 2016, but as more of its work shifted to support adults rather than young people, it no longer aligned with our platform’s focus.
Create stepped away in 2025. We’re grateful for the partnership and genuinely excited to see how Create continues to bring transformative creativity to those who need it.

2020 – 2023
Little Village
Providing emergency baby supplies to struggling parents
Little Village is the UK’s leading baby bank, supporting families with essential items their young children need to thrive.
It joined our platform in 2020 as a single South London centre. Its growth since has been remarkable: from 2,300 children supported in our early days to tens of thousands today.
We’re honoured to have been part of that journey and look forward to seeing Little Village’s continued impact as it grows.

2017 – 2023
Football Beyond Borders
Using the power of football to engage young people in education
Football Beyond Borders has supported thousands of young people, building remarkable impact and influence across the country.
Since our first meeting with its three founders in 2017, its growth has been phenomenal — from a South London start-up to a thriving national organisation.
We couldn’t be more proud to have been part of their journey and look forward to seeing them continue this vital work.

2015 – 2021
Grief Encounter
Helping children through bereavement
Grief Encounter supports bereaved children through counselling, workshops, retreats and a national helpline.
As one of our six original charities in 2015, it has grown steadily, supporting more bereaved children every year. By 2021, its fundraising had kept pace with rising demand, and the charity had outgrown our platform.
We couldn’t be more proud of everything Grief Encounter has achieved and the vital work it continues.

2018 – 2019
Papyrus
Working to prevent young suicide.
Papyrus was part of our portfolio for just over a year. In 2019, it launched a groundbreaking suicide awareness campaign, more than doubled its income and outgrew our platform.
We were saddened to learn it went into administration in 2026 due to insolvency, as income could no longer meet demand on its resources.
The work Papyrus did to raise awareness of youth suicide was remarkable and the impact of that work will continue.
