Got Skills from Raise Your Hands | Supporting Small Charities

Got Skills

Due to the current difficult circumstances, our charities have had to suspend their usual programme work for the foreseeable future and won’t be able to take on volunteers.

If you’d like to help out, the NHS, and many local organisations, are looking for volunteers to help support the vulnerable in the fight against Coronavirus.

Please use Google to find opportunities in your area.

Stay safe and look after each other.

Team RYH

Abi is 15 and looks after her older brother Johnny who has autism and learning difficulties. As part of @createcharity Live, Abi has been making films during lockdown, helping relieve the stresses of being a young carer…

A huge thank you to the good people of @Custerian who have chosen Raise Your Hands as a social impact partner.

Their support is invaluable for small charities working with disadvantaged young people and children hardest hit by the pandemic 🙌

Homeschooling? The fantastic @Kidscape are running free virtual ZAP workshops for young people. The core focus is to teach them how to be #assertive, a proven technique for preventing and tackling bullying situations. Check upcoming dates http://www.kidscape.org.uk/kidscape-programmes/zap-community-workshops/

More awards and well-deserved recognition for our charities. This time the brilliant @Storybookdads. Congratulations!
